... Kmp disable screen saver but do not disable power off monitor feature very well.
If power off monitor feature is activated, for example after 10 minutes, the monitor(s) keep on during playing but at the end (if the play during over 10 minutes) monitor switch to off. this is fine but not if I started a playlist so more than one file. the monitor should switched off at the end of playlist not after first file.

I can't replicate it in XP SP2. It looks like a vista specific problem.. Can you make it clear that?

try this:

1) download Coral Reef Adventure (IMAX) wmv demo from Microsoft site.
it takes 1:45 minutes for the play.

2) set energy saving options

sorry but I've Italian Vista edition. but should be clear.
set 1 minute for "disable monitor option".

3) start kmplayer with this file and its copy

start play. and do not touch keyboard and mouse. Kmp should be play these files in 3 minutes and 30 seconds. kmp complete first files and maybe the second files but when the play is over the monitor should be shutdown after another one minutes so 4:30 minutes after start but instead shutdown happen after few seconds.
With other files more complex with matroska splitter for example almost constantly the monitor shutdown after first file is over because file change take more seconds. Imho kmp should wait end of playlist at least and delay screen saver or monitor energy saving for another preset time.
If I set 10 minutes and play two files for 42+42 minutes the monitor should shutdown after 42+42+10 minutes=1 H and 34 min. At this moment shutdown after 42 minutes and few seconds often.

this in Vista I'll try with Xp in other dual-boot s.o.

I just did. Works like expected. Both files played and the monitor went into power saving mode after 1 min.
I also tried it on a different sample. Worked the same.

XP home SP2.

Confirm. It's related to Vista.
Same hw (different catalyst vers. 7.9 vs 7.10) and same kmp version : on XP Pro work fine.

Same here. I use the last beta version on a 2008 server standard edition with desktop experience enabled (same like vista). I play only mkv (x264 or AVC encoded) along with subtitles. Unfortunately when the idle time specified in the power management of the OS goes off, both monitors (monitor and lcd tv) goes to stand by. The video card is a Nvidia 8800 GT with latest drivers.
