Try with this file: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ndzloe5zg2d

Multiple subtitles tracks are mixed (when you move the video forward and backward it display a different subtitles track)

Tried with The KMPlayer 2.9.4.1435 on Windows XP SP3.

I can confirm the problem.

MedaInfo detects the subs and MPC-HC displays them.

ale5001, do you know which version worked? Thank you.

I don't know but it is possible that no-one has ever tested it with more than one subtitles in a avi.

OK I was wrong. I took "support for subtitles in AVI is broken" for "it worked before with an older version."

I never tested it.

Using DirectVobSub seems to be the only way to play those kind of files with right subtitles (in KMP).

@Pantuflo: Actually both the internal subtitle render of Media Player Classic and VLC 1.1 git play them fine.

I was referring to VS + KMP, I've already tested the other players. I'll edit my previous post to avoid confusion.

Another thing that may be related to this bug is that UTF-8 characters doesn't work in subtitles inside a AVI instead they work on external .srt files.
